The Stranger I Married

To fulfill her dying mother's wish, Jenny agrees to an arranged marriage, but her fiancé Rowan skips their ceremony, leaving her to endure the guests' mockery and harassment before three strangers assault her until Rowan's mother Elena rescues her. Over the next two years, Jenny builds her own business empire from scratch and becomes a rising star in the business world while faithfully honoring the engagement without ever searching for her fiancé. She meets Rowan unexpectedly during a project negotiation, and they cross paths repeatedly, developing feelings for each other without realizing they are the betrothed couple. Jenny faces attacks from her stepsister, the playboy Simon, and the businesswoman Rebecca, while Rowan steps in to protect her each time. They finally meet at the Ford residence and discover they have been waiting for each other all along.
